The ninth edition of Meetings Week Poland will take place on April 22–23. The online event will be devoted to changes in the meetings market in Poland and worldwide. All substantive sessions of this year’s Meetings Week Poland will take place on one day, April 22, and will be streamed online.
MWP 2021 will conclude with the MP Power Awards gala, which will take place on April 23. The event is traditionally organized by the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland, MPI Poland Chapter, the Event Industry Association, the Association of Incentive Travel Organizers, SITE Poland, the Polish Tourist Organization Poland Convention Bureau, the Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality, The Warsaw Voice, and MeetingPlanner.pl.
The theme of all presentations and debates during Meetings Week Poland is linked by a common denominator: Meetings Industry 2.0. Speakers will seek answers to questions about the functioning of the meetings industry in the new social, economic and communication reality, and will discuss the new reality that can be created through various types of meetings.
Quoting Milton Friedman, “only a crisis brings about real change,” we boldly and inevitably conclude that our goal now is to rebuild not only the industry, but the entire community centered around our sector. To stimulate demand for our services, we must listen to the expectations of our customers and partners.
What are they saying now? Do they trust us? What do they expect? Global trends are moving towards “legacy,” “inclusivity,” “sustainability,” “engagement,” and “new business models.” How does our Polish meetings market fare in this regard, what changes have taken place and what challenges do we face? There are many questions and many challenges. During this year’s edition of Meetings Week Poland, discussions with experts will focus on the “new reality” of congresses, events and incentive travel.
