The ICCA Congress, one of the most important events in the global event industry, took place on November 6-9 at the ICE Krakow Congress Center under the slogan “Together we can.” Mazovia and the Mazovia Regional Tourist Organization could not miss such an important industry event.

Participation in the event provided a unique opportunity to hear the opinions of industry leaders and world-class speakers, to co-create solutions to today’s critical challenges in business events, to expand global contacts during dynamic networking and social events during the congress, and to discover new opportunities through contacts with hundreds of international associations.
The event was held in Poland for the first time and was attended by over 900 participants from 80 countries. An important element was the promotion of Mazovia thanks to the sponsorship of one of the coffee breaks by the Mazovia Regional Tourist Organization, during which guests could learn about the tourist offer of the Mazovia Province and taste specialties from our region.
The ICCA is probably the largest and most influential organization in the world bringing together conference and congress organizers from all continents. Every year, over 1,000 of the most experienced professionals in the field meet to discuss changes, innovations, and challenges in the meetings industry.
Diversity and equality in employment, sustainable development, and environmental protection were the most important issues addressed during the lectures, panels, and workshops of this year’s congress. Some sessions and accompanying events were an opportunity to present the offers of countries, cities, and regions (including Gyeonggi, Incheon, Songdo, Edmonton, Bergen, Copenhagen, and the Polish regions of Mazovia and Podkarpacie).
The new dimension of the need for solidarity in the face of the war in Ukraine was an important backdrop to the process of constructing the congress agenda, which this year is held under the slogan “Together we can.” It is also worth mentioning that a collection of gifts for young people from Ukraine took place during the event.
