The Mazovia Convention Bureau, operating within the structures of MROT, actively participates in meetings and events of bodies involved in the meetings industry. On May 15, at the Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront hotel, the Deputy Director of MROT, Iwona Majewska, took part in the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala.
This important event is part of the Polish Congress Ambassadors program, which is implemented in cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organization (POT) and the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland (SKKP). The main objective of this program is to attract congresses to Poland and provide effective assistance to Polish representatives working in international organizations, such as scientists and specialists from various industries, in attracting such events to our country.
We are very pleased to announce that during the Gala, Dr. Krzysztof Celuch, Vice-Rector of the Vistula School of Tourism and Hospitality in Warsaw and President of Celuch Consulting, a member of MROT, received the prestigious title of Polish Congress Ambassador for his comprehensive activities and effectiveness in the meetings industry. The statuette was presented by Paula Fanderowska, President of the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland, and Wojciech Szczurek, Mayor of Gdynia. Congratulations!
The visit to Gdynia also allowed MROT to participate in the General Reporting and Election Meeting of SKKP, dedicated to summarizing the activities of the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland and presenting plans for the next year. Thank you for the invitation! It was a great time to meet new partners for cooperation in the meetings industry, learn about the best trends, and find common ground for action. Such meetings are further opportunities for the development of business tourism in Mazovia.
