Last week, we had the unique pleasure of participating in the MP IMPACT event, which provided us not only with inspiring experiences, but also new perspectives on the development of the meetings industry in Mazovia. One of the key moments of the event was the MAZOVIA EVENTS IMPACT session, during which the Mazovia Events Impact 2023 report was premiered. The report was co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and prepared by Celuch Consulting. It was presented by Dr. Krzysztof Celuch, professor at the Vistula School of Management.

In addition to the report, representatives of the Mazovia Convention Bureau (MCB) presented their achievements and activities carried out in 2023. It was a good opportunity to learn about the strategy and future development plans of this important institution, which plays a key role in shaping the event landscape in Mazovia. To this end, a panel discussion was held during the session on the Mazovia Convention Bureau’s plans for 2024, an important element of which was the topic of cooperation between various stakeholders for the development of the meetings industry, in particular cooperation with the Warsaw Convention Bureau. The panel was attended by: Dorota Zbińkowska, Director of the MROT Office, Iwona Majewska, Deputy Director of the MROT Office, Mazovia Convention Bureau, Dr. Krzysztof Celuch, Prof. SGTiH Vistula, Maciej First, MROT marketing specialist, Mazovia Convention Bureau. The panel was moderated by Magdalena Kondas, Editor-in-Chief at MeetingPlanner.pl.
It is worth noting that the evening gala was not only an opportunity to relax and network, but also to reward the most active participants. Those who distinguished themselves through their activity and commitment were honored with Mazovian gifts, generously donated by the Mazovian Regional Tourist Organization. This is a gesture of appreciation for those who make a significant contribution to the development of the meetings industry in Mazovia.
The evening also included the presentation of Mazovia Convention Bureau recommendations for meeting organizers in Mazovia. The recommendations were awarded to: Furnel Travel International, Mazurkas Congress Management, DMC Poland, Tarifa Powered by Eventui, Travel Bidder Sp. z o.o., and EVERAL Event Agency. This symbolic event highlighted the importance of cooperation and the inspiring contribution of each participant to the development of this dynamic field.
MP IMPACT 2023 was certainly a milestone for Mazovia, strengthening its position as an attractive venue for events. Thanks to such initiatives, the region is becoming not only a meeting place, but also a source of inspiration and innovation for the entire industry. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to be part of this unique event, which sheds new light on the potential of Mazovia in the field of meetings and events.
