The first competition dedicated to initiatives, campaigns and events that have a significant impact on the functioning and development of the meetings and events industry. The competition selects the most influential and valuable industry projects implemented in a given year.

The final of the 2024 competition and the announcement of the winners will take place during the industry leaders’ meeting “MP Impact: summit, awards, report” on December 18 at the Copernicus Science Center.
The aim of the MP Impact Awards is to recognize, distinguish, and promote initiatives, campaigns, and events that have or may have a significant impact on the development of the meetings industry, addressing important challenges or solving problems at the local, national, and international levels.
The aim of the MP Impact Awards is to present effective, exemplary activities undertaken by entities operating directly or indirectly in the meetings and events industry, in relation to their activities, which have an impact on the industry on a local, national and international scale.
The MP Impact Awards are intended to be a platform that recognizes projects (campaigns, initiatives, events) with the greatest impact on the meetings industry, while also serving as a starting point for cooperation and synergy between activities undertaken in the industry.
MAIN COMPETITION CATEGORIES
I. CAMPAIGN
This category is open to promotional campaigns promoting destinations, venues, services, and products in connection with their use in the meetings and events industry, carried out by destinations, agencies, venues, and other entities. These may be campaigns using multiple marketing communication channels or single-channel campaigns. These may include advertising campaigns, social media campaigns, content marketing campaigns, and others.
The projects submitted in this category will be evaluated on the basis of, among other things: effectiveness (achievement of campaign objectives), creativity, reach (reach achieved in relation to the campaign objectives and target group), value of the campaign for the meetings and events industry on a specific scale (local, regional, national, international).
II. INITIATIVE
This category is open to activities carried out by destinations, agencies, venues, and other entities aimed at developing a selected aspect of the meetings and events industry, responding to challenges in the industry, raising awareness of a selected issue and/or value within the meetings industry, and others. These may include partnership-based initiatives, information campaigns, research and analysis, document development, and programs.
The evaluation of projects submitted in this category will take into account, among other things: effectiveness (achievement of project objectives), creativity (selection of tools and methods of action in relation to the project topic), reach (reach achieved in relation to the project objectives and target group), value of the project (change that may occur during or after its implementation) for the meetings and events industry on a specific scale (local, regional, national, international).
III. EVENT
This category is open to events (conferences, forums, training courses, study trips, presentations, galas, concerts, etc.) whose theme is directly or indirectly related to activities in the meetings and events industry. The event may involve knowledge sharing, celebration of achievements or anniversaries important to the industry, launch of new services, entities or initiatives, or solving challenges relevant to the industry. These may be stand-alone events or part of other events (e.g., a zone, thematic track, discussion panel, etc. within an event of a specialized or universal nature).
The evaluation of projects submitted in this category will take into account, among other things: effectiveness (implementation of project objectives), creativity (selection of solutions in relation to the project theme), reach (reach achieved in relation to the project objectives and target group), value of the project (change that may occur during or after its implementation) for the meetings and events industry on a specific scale (local, regional, national, international).
ACCOMPANYING COMPETITION CATEGORY
MICE FOR GOOD
Initiatives, campaigns, and events aimed at responding to the challenges of sustainable development (ESG and DEI) in the meetings industry, in relation to the industry’s activities, event organization, and business travel.
The projects submitted in this category will be evaluated on the basis of, among other things: the significance of the topic/issue/challenge addressed, effectiveness (implementation of the project objectives), creativity (selection of solutions in relation to the topic), reach (reach achieved in relation to the project objectives and target group), the value of the project (change that may occur during or after its implementation) for the meetings and events industry on a specific scale (local, regional, national, international). MICE for Good is a special category – projects that appeared in the main category may be submitted to it.
