Warsaw, the capital of Mazovia, has officially won the prestigious Meetings Star Award 2025 in the “New Europe Meeting Destinations” category! During the award ceremony, which took place on February 19, 2025, at the Grand Reception Hall in the CD – Cankarjev dom Congress Centre in Ljubljana, Warsaw was honored as the leading meeting industry center in Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw beat such well-known destinations as Prague, Athens, Budapest, Zagreb, Tallinn, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Krakow, and Vilnius. Congratulations!

Warsaw – a leader in meetings in New Europe
The jury’s decision highlights Warsaw’s impressive development as a modern metropolis with excellent conference infrastructure and a dynamically developing MICE market. The Polish capital received the highest marks for its modern conference facilities, rich hotel offer, and the professionalism of Warsaw’s event agencies.
“Polish event agencies are among the best in Europe, and Warsaw stands out for the quality of its organization and the proactive approach of the Warsaw Convention Bureau team,” explained the experts who awarded the prize.

The Meetings Star Award is one of the most important distinctions in the meetings industry, and its award to Warsaw confirms the growing importance of the Polish capital on the European business events map. The dynamic development of MICE infrastructure, high quality of services and the commitment of key industry institutions make Warsaw an increasingly popular choice for prestigious congresses, conferences and corporate events.
