Industry representatives, industry associations, and the judges of the MP Power Awards® competition have selected the most appreciated personalities in the meetings and events industry in 2024. This is yet another year in which Mazovia Convention Bureau, representing Mazovia, has received such a prestigious award in the MICE industry as a nomination for the title of “Person of the Year MeetingPlanner.pl.” Last year, it was Izabela Stelmańska, President of the Management Board of MROT, and this year, Iwona Majewska, Deputy Director of the MROT Office. This certainly testifies to the high regard for the professionalism, achievements in their field, quality of cooperation, and commitment to the industry of the award-winning managers of the Mazovia Convention Bureau project. Congratulations!
The MP Power People poll identifies individuals who had an impact on the functioning of the event industry in 2024, professionals who achieved professional success in their field, distinguished themselves by high professional ethics, quality of work, and commitment to the industry. Candidates for the award were nominated by the industry community at large. From among the proposals of each group (industry, industry associations, MP Power Awards® jury), the individuals with the highest number of nominations were selected. They received a number of points corresponding to their position in the group. Based on the total number of points, the most appreciated individuals in the meetings industry in 2024 were selected. From among them, the MP Power People jury will select the top three – i.e. the nominees for the title of “MeetingPlanner.pl Person of the Year” – and then select the winner.
