Mazovia Convention News|

The Polish Tourism Organisation (POT) has officially launched the Promotional Support Program for Inbound Tourism and Incentive Travel 2026, funded by a targeted grant from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. The total budget for the project is PLN 3.8 million gross, divided equally with PLN 1.9 million allocated to two key components.

For Mazovia – the country’s leading business, conference, and cultural hub – this program provides a direct impulse to stimulate the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) market. Poland’s geopolitical stability and the high standard of hotel and event infrastructure in our region position Mazovia as an ideal, safe alternative to traditional international incentive destinations.

Program objectives and opportunities for Mazovia’s meetings sector

The primary goal of the program is to counteract declines in tourist traffic, intensify overseas promotion, and boost incentive and business travel hosted in Poland.

From the perspective of the Mazovia region, an increased volume of incentive events and international group arrivals will translate into tangible growth in occupancy rates and revenues across multiple sectors of the local economy. The program aims to activate:

  • Hotels and unique conference and event venues,
  • Restaurants and catering service providers,
  • Transport and logistics companies,
  • Tourist attractions, museums, and local event and artistic service providers.

Shifts in global business travel are leading international planners to seek predictable destinations offering excellent flight connectivity and a rich portfolio of premium infrastructure. The Warsaw transport hub, combined with Mazovia’s unique cultural, historical, and natural tourism offerings, enables the creation of top-tier incentive programs.

Two support components: Operational and technical details

The program is split into two dedicated pillars. Below are the detailed requirements and implementation tracks for each pillar.
