Mazovia Convention Bureau strengthens the presence of Mazovia within the most key circles of the meetings industry. On September 2, 2026, MCB once again served as the Gold Partner for the 13th edition of THINK MICE Mashup Meetings, held at The Box Club inside the Warsaw Experience Center at Legia Warsaw Stadium. The event took place under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

THINK MICE Mashup Meetings is a recurring event that integrates representatives from various segments of the MICE market—meeting planners, agencies, venues, destinations, and service providers. The event format combines educational content with networking, allowing participants to not only discuss the industry’s major challenges, but also build business relationships and exchange experience.
On challenges that determine event success
This year’s edition was held under the banner “An unseen crisis: what to do when your back is against the wall?” and focused on crisis management during event execution.
The discussion covered technical and logistical issues, sudden supplier or speaker cancellations, unforeseen venue incidents, and the need for rapid response. Attendees explored when to trigger Plan B, how information flow should be structured, and who should take responsibility during a crisis.
The centerpiece of the program was a debate moderated by Michał Zalewski from Dobrze Powiedziane, during which industry professionals shared practical experiences and case studies where quick decision-making, clear communication, and solid teamwork were crucial.
A Gold Partner with a concrete role
For Mazovia Convention Bureau, serving as a Gold Partner went beyond brand positioning.
Above all, it offered a direct avenue to reach professionals responsible for destination, venue, and supplier selection when organizing conferences, congresses, corporate events, and incentive programs. This presence builds awareness of the Mazovia region among key decision-makers while providing a deeper understanding of their needs and expectations.
Thanks to cooperation with MROT members: BoniFaCio SPA & Sport Resort, Chopin Point Warsaw, Everal, and Suntago – event attendees received promotional materials and gifts from Mazovia Convention Bureau, as well as vouchers enabling them to experience selected highlights of Mazovia firsthand. This served as an additional way to showcase the region’s diversity through direct experience of its cultural, leisure, recreational, and event offerings.
Relationships that work for the region
Networking was one of the key elements of Mashup Meetings. For Mazovia Convention Bureau, this is a vital area, as direct conversations are often where the first ideas for future projects, fam trips, events, and collaboration on specific executions emerge.
Participating as a Gold Partner allowed MCB not only to promote the region, but also to strengthen ties with industry stakeholders and position Mazovia as a destination open to collaboration that professionally supports event organizers.
Engagement in THINK MICE Mashup Meetings aligns with Mazovia Convention Bureau’s long-term strategy to increase the region’s visibility in the meetings market, cultivate relationships with meeting planners, and create conditions to bid for and host future events.
Serving as a Gold Partner of THINK MICE Mashup Meetings is not just about being present at a major industry event; it is primarily another opportunity to ensure Mazovia is actively involved wherever the future of the meetings market is discussed and decisions on upcoming events are made.
