THE MAZOVIA CENTRE OF CONTEMPORARY ART “ELEKTROWNIA”

The Mazovia Centre of Contemporary Art
“Elektrownia” is one of the most famous industrial
buildings, which, thanks to revitalisation,
has gained the second life. Interestingly, the
restoration of the Elektrownia was helped,
among others, by a Radom-born, outstanding
director Andrzej Wajda. A characteristic element
and the symbol of the Centre is a neon sign in the
shape of a cloud on the roof of the new part of the
building by a German artist, Thorsten Goldberg.
Today, it is a magnificent exhibition space with
excellent conference and meeting facilities.
