KORCZEW PALACE
Korczew is famous for its historical palace,
surrounded by a picturesque English park.
Today’s building is the outcome of numerous
reconstructions carried out since the first half of
the 18th century. The palace is U-shaped: the two
side annexes are connected to the main body of
the palace by galleries. One of the galleries contains
a hothouse with thermophilous plants. The most
interesting object in the park is the newly renovated
Siberia chateau, which houses the exhibition on the
history of the chateau complex. However, in the
rooms and restaurant just outside the gates, in the
Palace Forge, one can enjoy regional specialties and
spend a peaceful night in historical surroundings.
