In the heart of Żyrardów, famous for its historic 19th-century factory settlement, you will find a unique example of industrial architecture - the Resursa. Dating from 1870, this building is a witness to the city’s industrial past while enchanting with its architectural concept and the aesthetics of its decorative interiors. In the past, Resursa served as the headquarters of the Association of Officials of the Żyrardów Works Joint Stock Company. Currently, the building hosts cultural events, including concerts, exhibitions, and lectures. Next to the Resursa building, you can visit the Bowling, which features the permanent exhibition “Żyrardów - a town of weavers and visionaries.” In front of the building’s entrance stands a monument dedicated to the father of the Polish linen industry, Filip de Girard.
