The Museum in Stawisko is a place, the most precious value of which is its authenticity. The Iwaszkiewicz couple called ‚Stawisko’ the estate donated to Anna by her father, Stanisław W. Lilpop, on the day of her wedding on 12 September, 1922. For more than five decades, since the moment of moving into Stawisko in 1928, until the writer’s death in 1980, not only was it the place of living of the Iwaszkiewicz, but also a vibrant cultural center. Stawisko is also a center of high culture, where the traditions of literature and music are continued. A huge asset of this place is its park of several hectares.
