The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum in Sochaczew gathers the largest collection of narrow gauge rolling stock in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. Currently, there are as many as 226 units of narrow gauge rolling stock, 140 of which are exhibited in the skansen. The exhibition halls present, among others, a permanent exhibition entitled „History of the Sochaczew Narrow Gauge Railway 1922-1984”, as well as the longest stationary railway model in Poland entitled „Sochaczew Commuter Railway”. During the tourist season, which lasts from April to October, the main attractions of the facility are trips on the historic Retro train on the active 18-kilometer route from Sochaczew to the edge of the Kampinos Forest.
