Mazovia Convention News|

On June 30, 2025, the first consultations and workshops on the MICE sub-strategy were held at the Vistula School of Tourism and Hospitality in Warsaw. The sub-strategy is a strategic document aimed at setting the directions for the development of the business tourism sector in Poland. The meeting was organized by RPSiW Tugether, and Iwona Majewska, representing the Mazovia Convention Bureau, also participated in the event.

The meeting brought together representatives of the meetings and events industry, academia, public institutions, and industry organizations. During the event, the preliminary assumptions of the sub-strategy were presented, and participants were given the opportunity to actively engage in the process of co-creating it through discussions, sharing experiences, and formulating recommendations.

The workshop discussed, among other things, issues related to the international promotion of Poland as a MICE destination, the need for further professionalization of services, and the importance of cooperation between stakeholders in the sector. The conclusions and opinions gathered during the meeting constitute valuable source material for further work on the document.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for the opportunity to participate and submit recommendations concerning the Mazovia region. We are convinced that the substantive input gathered will be used to develop effective and long-term solutions supporting the development of the meetings industry throughout Poland.

Project implemented by the TUgether Meetings and Events Industry Council. The business management of the project has been entrusted to a member of the Event Industry Association Federation. The public task “MICE – tourism sub-strategy” is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism on the basis of agreement no. 2025/0023/4919/UDOT/DT/BP/IC.
