Participants of the MP MICE Tour®, organized by MeetingPlanner.pl and Mazovia Convention Bureau, which took place on July 20 and 21, 2025, discovered the unusual side of Mazovia and the possibilities of using it when organizing extraordinary events.

The slogan of the event was “Discover the luxury of Mazovia – relaxation and business” and it went well with the program of the trip, which focused on exploring places that allow you to combine business meetings with communing with nature, regenerating your strength, and having a good time. The luxury offered by the region encompasses a wide range of experiences that are not available on a daily basis, such as unique experiences, living in harmony with the slow life philosophy, space for comfortable work, and inspiring interactions. The participants of the project were able to experience all of this.
“Mazovia is a region with enormous and still growing event potential, combining transport accessibility, infrastructure facilities, and a unique diversity of offerings. Thanks to its central location and extensive network of road, rail, and air connections, it is a natural choice for event organizers from all over Poland and abroad,” says Iwona Majewska, manager of the Mazovia Convention Bureau, operating within the Mazovia Regional Tourist Organization, which was a strategic partner of the event.
The Mazovia Convention Bureau (MCB) offers comprehensive support at every stage of planning and implementation of conferences, congresses, corporate meetings, and incentive trips.
Events not only in the capital
Undoubtedly, the event capital of Mazovia is Warsaw, which is one of the most dynamic conference cities in Central and Eastern Europe. However, locations outside the capital are equally attractive and increasingly popular. The region offers historic palaces, atmospheric manor houses, modern spa hotels, and boutique facilities surrounded by nature, ideal for intimate meetings, team-building trips, creative workshops, and slow events. Mazovia also has a growing wine tourism and culinary offer – vineyards, a chocolate factory, organic farms – which create attractive incentive and experiential scenarios. Organizers are increasingly looking for something more than just a conference room – Mazovia offers them excitement, flavor, and authenticity. Our guests – meeting planners who took part in our study trip – also had the opportunity to experience such unique places, says Iwona Majewska.
The meeting began with a morning kick-off over coffee and chocolate at the E. Wedel Chocolate Factory Museum in Warsaw. This place is also an event space with 1,500 sq m of area comprising various rooms – from an industrial hall through a multimedia pavilion to a terrace with a view of Warsaw. The brunch served there was provided by Melon Catering, which creates modern cuisine based on fresh ingredients, tailored to the nature of each event. The meeting was accompanied by a discussion on business tourism in Mazovia with the participation of Prof. Krzysztof Celuch from Celuch Consulting and Iwona Majewska from the Mazovia Convention Bureau.
From a maze to conference rooms
A place that can be used as part of team-building trips is the Maze near Warsaw, or the Family Amusement Park, located in Milanówek. The maze combines originality with functionality and nature with a modern approach to events. After visiting this facility, the participants visited the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside in Sierpc, where team-building trips can also be organized, as well as conferences and training courses. Companies have at their disposal rooms that can be freely arranged and can accommodate over 100 people. Business events can be complemented by local attractions, such as visiting exhibitions, carriage rides, sleigh rides in winter, field games, craft shows, folk handicrafts and rural farm activities, or gatherings around the campfire.
More and more modern conference centers are being built in Mazovia, which can satisfy even the most demanding meeting organizers. One of them is located at the Skansen Conference & Spa Hotel in Sierpc. The event spaces of this facility, with a total area of 160 sq m, can accommodate up to 140 people, while the conference and entertainment hall, equipped with a stage, booths, and simultaneous interpretation equipment, can host meetings for 300 people.
The next stop on the trip was the Bonifacio Spa & Sport Resort, a hotel located in Kępa near Sochocin, which has a business center consisting of six conference and training rooms. Combining them allows for the organization of meetings for 300 people. Vehicles can even be driven into the rooms located on the ground floor, which enriches the organizational possibilities of this place. The club room, on the other hand, is a place for more informal meetings and team-building events.
Surrounded by nature, with slow food cuisine, a Clarins spa area, and full event facilities, this venue can be used to organize a variety of events, whose program can be complemented by outdoor attractions such as canoeing, a picnic on the Wkrzańska Escarpment, or a forest scavenger hunt.
The participants of the trip met with the chef of the restaurant at this facility, and the day ended with an aperitif on the pool terrace and a Mazovian barbecue with local wine from the Nuna Vineyard and a bonfire.
From the vineyard to the palace
The Nuna Vineyard, the result of a family passion, the unique climate of Mazovia, and craftsmanship perfected over many years, was the destination of the second day of the MP MICE Tour®. The place is located in Pomiechówek, 40 km from Warsaw, and the specific climatic conditions and light, permeable soils are conducive to viticulture. The participants of the trip met here in a newly built tasting pavilion surrounded by unspoiled nature and listened to the owners’ stories about their life’s passion.
The next stop on the tour of Mazovia represented a different atmosphere and character. It was the Officers’ Casino of the Modlin Fortress, a branch of the Nowodworski Cultural Center, a historic military building from the early 20th century.
The decor and historical interior furnishings, including elements such as balustrades, marble stairs, chandeliers, ceramic floors, ceilings covered with marbling and floral decorations, as well as characteristic window and door woodwork, make it a popular venue for meetings. A variety of events can be organized here in an original setting. The pride and joy of the Casino are its auditorium and ballroom. Exhibitions, concerts, theater performances, and film screenings are held here.
The Casino has a restaurant called Stół Oficerski (Officers’ Table), which serves classic Polish cuisine, and everyone can sit at the round officers’ table, which is its central point, without a reservation. The participants of the trip were served lunch prepared by Twister Catering, whose strengths include vegan cuisine and cuisine with Asian accents. The company has its own preserves, prepares all menu items from scratch, makes dumplings, bakes bread using natural sourdough, homemade cakes, and traditional and vegan cakes.
The last stop of the trip was a visit to the Alexandrinum Palace, a four-star hotel located in Krubki-Górki, 13 km from Warsaw. It is surrounded by a historic park, has a rich spa area with a swimming pool and a modern conference center, which includes six rooms with a total area of 735 sq m. The largest room is 268 sq m and can accommodate 200 people. You can organize banquets, parties, picnics here, as well as rent the hotel exclusively. The accommodation base of the facility consists of 83 rooms and 7 year-round 4-person cottages. The green area surrounding the palace covers 13 hectares and includes, among other things, a beach bar – an outdoor bar with a pizza oven and two glades.
It was specific and diverse
The participants of the trip appreciated the interesting selection of places visited.
“During the trip, I was most interested in hotels in the Warsaw area and learning about their infrastructure, with a view to using them when organizing future events. I rate the event program very highly; it was specific, diverse, and the trip definitely met my expectations. MP MICE Tour® was also valuable in terms of business. Mazovia surprised me mainly with the possibility of organizing tastings in a winery, as well as beautiful green areas, perfect for outdoor events,” says Karolina Janus, event manager at 10Team.
MP MICE Tour® Mazovia 2025 is an event that shows how much our region has to offer in terms of business tourism. One of the biggest surprises was the visit to the Nuna Winery. We had the opportunity to participate in a pre-release wine tasting, which surprised us with its quality and character. It is a place with enormous potential that is just beginning to develop – you can see the passion of the hosts and their vision of creating an original space for intimate events and business meetings,” says Izabela Hernik, marketing product manager at T-Mobile Polska, who was also very impressed by the Bonifacio Hotel. “It is a facility that perfectly combines modern conference infrastructure with a philosophy of wellbeing. Located in the heart of the Mazovian forests, it offers conditions for work, relaxation, and integration at the highest level. Particularly noteworthy are the excellent cuisine and carefully selected wines, which create a unique backdrop for business meetings and networking evenings. It is a place worth recommending to customers looking for quality, peace and culinary experiences,” she said.
“The region definitely has event potential, as more and more customers want to travel outside Warsaw, but at the same time not waste too much time on commuting. So, by staying within Mazovia, you can meet these expectations, and there are more and more high-quality hotels. It is definitely worth organizing business meetings, incentive trips, and other events here. I am already looking forward to future projects, adds Karolina Janus.
“The entire trip program was very well put together – it showed Mazovia as a region full of inspiration, ready to create unique experiences in the MICE segment,” concludes Izabela Hernik.
MP MICE Tour® – an effective tool for promoting destinations
Iwona Majewska from the Mazovia Convention Bureau considers projects such as MP MICE Tour® to be one of the most effective tools for promoting destinations in the business segment.
“From the convention bureau’s point of view, such an event brings a number of benefits. These include direct experience of the offer – meeting planners have the opportunity to see the conference infrastructure, hotels, attractions, and technical facilities ‘live’. This significantly increases the chance that they will choose this location for their event in the future. It is also important to build relationships, and small-scale meetings are conducive to establishing direct contacts, which often turn into long-term cooperation. Another benefit is showcasing unique assets. During the MICE Tour, it is possible to present not only conference facilities, but also elements of the incentive offer, the culture of the region, attractions, and gastronomy—in other words, everything that creates a unique experience for participants of future events, says Iwona Majewska, manager of the Mazovia Convention Bureau.
“The MP MICE Tour® showed the less obvious but extremely inspiring face of Mazovia in a unique way. Chocolate stories, boutique vineyards, stylish palaces, and intimate conference facilities – all this created a tasteful and elegant image of the region, which surprises at every turn. For me, as a representative of the Mazovia Convention Bureau, it is a great satisfaction to be able to observe the genuine interest and positive emotions of the participants, for whom this trip was not only a source of knowledge, but above all an inspiration for future events. MP MICE Tour® is a true showcase of our region’s potential – with class, creativity, and heart – sums up Iwona Majewska.
