Another workshop has been held as part of the project “Improving the quality of business tourism management in Mazovia through the participatory development of the Mazovia Convention Bureau Development Strategy,” co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

This time, the workshop was attended by representatives of the academic staff of universities from the Mazovia region. The aim of the workshop was to jointly develop the assumptions for the Mazovia Convention Bureau Development Strategy for 2026-2030. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Krzysztof Celuch.
The meeting was of a working and consultative nature. The agenda included, among others:
– assessment of the potential of the Mazovia region in the context of competitiveness in the business tourism market,
– analysis of the activities of the Mazovia Convention Bureau in 2023–2025,
– identification of strategic goals and directions for development for the next 5 years,
– discussion of tools and mechanisms supporting the implementation of the strategy, including cooperation with the industry and a model for financing promotional activities.
The participants actively engaged in the workshop process, sharing their experiences, expectations, and recommendations.
The conclusions and recommendations developed during the meeting will become a very important contribution to the strategic document being created, which is intended to support the professionalization of promotional activities for Mazovia as a MICE destination and increase the region’s share in the domestic and international meetings market.
We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and substantive contributions. The next workshops within this project will take place soon.
