Mazovia Convention News|

In today’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) market, “gut feeling” is no longer a viable strategy. In an era of dynamic economic shifts, robust data analysis has become the essential foundation for modifying existing services and designing entirely new tourism products that precisely meet the demands of event organizers. Understanding tourism flows and booking trends is the key to building a competitive advantage—a factor that is particularly vital for the Masovian region. Our voivodeship serves as a natural extension of Warsaw’s MICE offer, providing the space and infrastructure that, in synergy with the capital, creates a comprehensive, world-class business destination.

On April 10, 2026, the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw will host the latest edition of “Market Data. Tourism & MICE.” This unique initiative by the Warsaw Tourism Organization (WOT) was recently honored with the prestigious MP Impact Awards® 2025 in the “Event” category. This gathering brings together experts who view numbers as the starting point for strategic business decisions in hospitality, gastronomy, and event services.

The strength of this conference lies in its presentations based on “hard data” provided by global and local industry leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to study reports and analyses prepared by partners such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Colliers, Expedia Group, ForwardKeys (an Amadeus Company), GetYourGuide, Lighthouse, LOT Polish Airlines, Seerio, and STR. Such a wide array of sources allows us to view Masovia not just through a local lens, but from a global perspective, which is indispensable for the growth of inbound tourism.

A highlight of the program, drawing significant industry attention, will be the discussion panel dedicated to the new short-term rental regulations set to take effect in May 2026. Experts from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, along with representatives from major booking platforms—under the guidance of Professor Piotr Zmyślony—will analyze how these upcoming changes will reshape the accommodation structure in the Warsaw metropolitan area.

The event is free of charge, making it accessible to every entrepreneur in Masovia who wishes to plan their growth consciously. This is where theoretical knowledge meets business practice. The regularity of these meetings (every six months) allows for the ongoing verification of forecasts and the adjustment of offers to the real-time dynamics of the market.
